Ask Ausiello 10/17/07 Nothing we don't already know. Question: Any explanation for Mariska's sudden hair changes this season? She started out the first two episodes with supershort hair, but in last weeks episode with Melissa Joan Hart it was long again. How is this possible?-Katherine Ausiello: You can blame that continuity breach on Sabrina The Teenage Witch. As an SVU insider explains it, last weeks episode-featuring Marish's old 'do-was shot out of sequence in order to accommodate Hart's availabilty. Oh, really! I thought it was just to confuse us. LOL. I will have to say I was not fond of that 'do on Liv

Ask Ausiello 10/24/07
Question: You answer one Law & Order:SVU question in your column and it's about Mariska's hair?! Not cool. The episodes have been good so far, but horrible if you're a Benson-Stabler 'shipper.' I'm about to give up on seeing some Elliot-Liv love ever, so please give me some good news!--Nikki
Ausiello: A friend of mine whose sister works on the show watched a rough cut of the episode in which Stabler goes blind , and apparently, it features several heart-wrenching moments between the two of them-beginning with her craddling him in her arms after he gets injured in the line of duty. And at the end of sweeps, look for some major drama surrounding the birth of Kathy's baby. Teases my mole: "There's an "amazing" scene between Chris and Mariska at the end of the episode."
Question: You tell us that Stabler will go blind and that's where you end it? Is it permanent? Temporary?--Audra
Ausiello: I can confirm that it is definetely one of those two.
Question. Enough about Benson & Stabler. Got any scoop on the supporting cast of SVU?--Nikki
Ausiello: Sort of. I just learned that former ADA Stephanie March will be guest-starring on the Nov.8th episode of GREY'S ANATOMY.
Why rehash the Stabler blindness question again?! That's the same non-answer he gave the last time!!

Oh God what kind of drama surrounding the baby's birth???I hope it doesn't mean the baby dies. I have been worrying about that.

Nope. The baby doesn't die but Olivia helps deliver it, after her and Kathy are in an automobile accident.

Nope. The baby doesn't die but Olivia helps deliver it, after her and Kathy are in an automobile accident. Kathy goes into labor during the auto accident; Olivia helps deliver Baby Boy Stabler in the back of an ambulance. She then hands the baby to Kathy, who crashes and almost dies, but does survive. The episode is titled PATERNITY, and yes, Elliot does question whether he is the father of Kathy's baby.

Why would Elliot question the baby's paternity? Can someone answer that? Kathy had her issues but the show never gave any indication she was having an affair. I'm glad neither the baby or Kathy dies. Wishing something like that is kinda lame, IMO...

Ask Ausiello 10/31/07
Question: Can you at least tell us when Elliot will go blind on Law & Order:SVU?---Whitne
Ausiello: Tragedy strikes in the Nov.13 episode titled, appropritely enough, "Blinded." At a recent event Chris Meloni teased the circumstances surrounding Elliot's injury in, um, rather graphic detail. "A perp attacks me, blindsides me, and it's when your brain is slapped against your skull, basically bruising the optic nerves," he said. "I've always secretly thought it would be very interesting to play a blind person and keep your visual senses open, yet not tap into them... I summoned my inner Al Pacino, and I think I'm gonna grab that Emmy this year."

thanks for that update, rambabe. BUT I am all bent out of shape to think that Elliot would ever question Kathy's faithfulness. Sorry but I can't let that go.

Yeah, I am kinda sick about this. I am not much of a shipper...unless it's fin with me as I always say BUT I do want Elliot at home with his wife and kids. E/O shippers are so hell bent on their ship sometimes it makes me sad. I know this is only a TV show but I get upset at death of a wife or child being applauded even if it is only TV.

i am an EO shipper! i dont want the baby to be dead at all! the role of kathy has just grown to piss me off over the years and i just want her to go away, not necessarily die! she yells at him for being gone every day and being with liv more than her! she files for divorce, moves out with his kids, and rushes the process along by asking liv to ask him to sign the papers! WHAT IS THAT?!?! and then she asks him to stay with her after all he prosumably came to her house for was to see his kids! she has been busy confusing me all this time i think she is confusing herself on who, what, when, where, and why to sleep around!
