I think that Kathy leaving helped Elliot out in many ways. He was becomming angrier all the time and this helped him to seek help. Olivia even said he had anger issues. So it did turn out to be a good thing. Also when Elliot goes to the hospital and walks in Kathy's room holding the baby she says, "It's a boy". And then Elliot holds his son and says, "Welcome to the world little man, I'm your dad." I also learned that they name the baby Elliot.

Kaysee, I can see your point. I think it brought Elliot back to reality. My probem is rumors of El not thinking the baby is his. I had my issues with kathy but never saw her as an adulterer.
oowsvu, I agree, it's not to original but in a large Catholic family one son always gets to be a Jr.

my family is Catholic, i am the only child, i was either Nicole or Danielle in my family because my mom's dad and brother are Nick and my dad and grandpa are Dan. but that still doesn't mean i could have been named something completely different. my dad said i could been a sarah, BLAH!

I think Nicole is a beautiful name. Catholic family love either family names or saints names. LOL..BTW I like Elliot, Jr. better than Dicky.

ha i agree. my family is catholic and there are a million michaels and stevens bc every generation just names their sons that! haha.
i was almost named Melinda (pronounced MAY-leen-da...very italian. haha) after my great-grandmother but they "American-ized" it and gave me Melissa.
i'm excited to see how elliot reacts around the new baby!!

I'm named after the 40's singer Patti Page. I think I would rather have a saint's name.
caseybeatsalex, I hope the baby brings El and Kathy closer and I can't wait to see El with him.

Ask Ausiello 12/5 07
Question: That hug between Elliot and Olivia on "Law & Order:SVU last week was yummy. Do you have details of any more upcoming sexual tension?--Kris
Ausiello: There is no "sexual" tension per se, but there is tension in an upcoming episode titled "Inconceivable," which deals with a cryogenic tank of frozen embryos that is stolen. Needles to say, Olivia (who is childless) and Elliot (who has 37 kids) are on opposite sides of the issue.

1/30/08 Question: Do you have some Law & Order:SVU scoopage in that smurfarrific brain of yours?--Chad Hammonds Ausiello: The buzz is that, much like Pushing Daisies, SVU's season is pretty much dunzo-regardless of when the strike is settled. I don't believe this blurb. He is just fooling with us. It ain't over until TPTB tell us so.!
