Last night I saw some show on E about serial killers. It mentioned Ed Gein, Gacy, BTK, but completely failed to mention so many big ones like the Green River Killer, Dahmer, manson, etc. Why would the skip over that?

Yeah, that seems pretty odd. It was on E though so I wouldn’t necessarily trust it as the best source for a documentary-type show. There are plenty of movies that’ve been made about Dahmer, manson, and green river killer. Actually, there’s a brand new green river killer movie that I saw an ad for the other day, so yeah those are some good places to start movie wise if you want to see more.

I didn't see the show so I don't know why they failed to mention other major serial killers. If you are interested in the Manson story, I recommend the book Helter Skelter written by the man who prosecuted him. His name is Vincent Bugliosi. A movie was also done and it was excellent. I remember these killings clearly since I was 22 years old when they occurred. Maybe E felt they were too old to be included. Who knows.

Due to my schedule, I was unable to watch it. Luckily Lifetime reruns their movies alot so I will try to catch it.
