I was always interested in the shows that dealt with the baddest murderers, killers, serial killers, because i am fascinated to know what happens in these people's minds! Like what possesses them to commit these crimes you know? Which one do you think is the most profound or just plain sicko??

I'm not sure! I am addicted to watching Law & Order obviously, America's Most Wanted with Jim Walsh, and this new special about the Green River Killer-- he is completely insane i think!! There was a book out about him and now they're doing a movie!

For me, I've just finished reading about Ted Bundy, and he terrified me! The fact that the author of the book, A Stranger Beside Me, Ann Rule, was friends with Bundy, and was actually talking to him about the progress of it, without having any idea he was the killer, is absolutly terrifying! How he managed to go undetected for so long, and have so many women 'fall in love' with him is beyond me.
I've always been interested in serial killers, and how their mind works, which is why I love Ann Rule books, and partly the reason I'm addicted to crime shows. There's a new one over here, which is like a reality show for CSI junkies, is amazing.

If you are interested in what goes on in the mind of those who are less rational and more violent, I would recommend for you to read about the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. He was a very paranoid yet narcissistic ruler, and you may find reading about the Moscow prossesses that he initiated interesting. And also, Italian dictator Benito Mussolini who was of the Fascist Party may be of interest for you. He grew up with a violent father, and that made him again a very violent and brutal ruler. When he took power in Italy, he actually rallied 25.000 people who supported the fascists and they all marched to Rome where the King Victor granted him the power in the coutry.

Two very good choices in studying the criminal mind, Terry. May I suggest another, Adolph Hitler. Another sociopath who killed millions.

Speaking of Hitler and his repulsive doings, even though it has been over 60 years since WW2, Germany still is a depressing place. Especially Berlin, it can really give you the creeps, a very depressing place.

So many today do not even talk about The Holocaust anymore. Some even deny it. That frightens me. Lest We Forget is something I was raised with. Coming from a dual faith home, I was raised in a Jewish neighborhood. 2 neighbors were Holocaust survivors. Many others had lost members of their European family. My Dad lost his whole family that had remained in Hungary. To me the events of Hitler's reign still are very clear. I compliment you on knowing about it and believing it happened. You are to be commended.

I know a few Holocaust deniers myself. I always asked them if there was no Holocaust where are all my Hungarian relatives then. All I ever get is a silly look. It defies coomon sense to believe it never happended. It wasn't only 6 million Jews. It was gypsies and Poles, and Russians and Mentally challenged and Gays and any church member who protested.
I have discovered in my almost 61 years, that people who are determined to hate Jews, will go to any length to perpatrate the theory that it never happened.

I think that people who say that they believe that the Holocaust was a hoax are so disrespecting that it makes me sick to my stomach.
It is not an issue of people seeing what they want to see; it is an issue of people being completely blind.
