This was not a bad episode.
It was more enjoyable than last week.
We got to see Munch and Fin.
Unstable Stabler turning in his badge and gun, always a plus, even though this time I felt he was justified.
Olivia seemed normal for once. Another plus.
As for the new ADA, she was obnoxious to say the least.

I enjoyed this episode, even though Tom Noonan totally creeps me out (know him from X-Files Paper Hearts). However I thought it was very odd that they could not get help for the boy BEFORE he acted on his urges. I think the new ADA will get better - she's just new and is wanting to jump in and get her feet wet.

This episode was kind of good, in my ever so humble opinion. It was, however, an emotional turmoil for me every single time I saw Olivia's wrist with the new watch. But at least I can find some comfort in the fact that Olivia wasn't weeping or crying in this episode.
I loved Fin in this episode, and Munch too. It's good to see them in action again. And I love Fin's "I'll smack ya" attitude; much needed on some occasions.
Stabler...where to start? He finally got what was coming to him; he's always been a loose cannon. I loved it when Cragen gave him a mouthful. As far as I'm concerned, that gun and badge can just as well stay in Cragen's desk until next season. I understand that he got pissed when he saw his daughter, but that man has got to learn that he is not the king of the universe with the right to do anything he pleases.
And I notice that everybody seems to hate the new ADA. Am I the only one who loves her? I understand that many find her arrogant and annoying, but I think she's a awesome! I mean, dang! That woman's got spunk! She doesn't skip around the bush, and she's tough, determined and stubborn. All the makings of a great ADA. And I love her. She's great. And I love her.
Oh, and did anyone else notice how Kim seemed to only focus on Olivia whenever she was in the squad room? (I know, I know, but with the watch gone, a girl needs some hope.)

Terry, great post. I don't hate the new ADA. I just think she seems obnoxious and arrogant. She needs to calm her attitude down.

'its not that i want her dead, its just that i dont want her alive...anymore.'
your whole watch sh peal annoys me man! get over it!
also they are the only woman in a ocean of mean with anger issues and after both of their last relationships it makes sense for them to huddle up!
also liv was almost in tears throughout the ep at the most random of times too! she never actually cried but close to it!

'its not that i want her dead, its just that i dont want her alive...anymore.' your whole watch sh peal annoys me man! get over it! Play nice, please... I pretty much agree with you, Terry. I liked this episode more than I liked last weeks (which was not at all), though I caught myself having a case of the "again?"s, again. We've seen Elliot fly off the handle and cost himself his badge once or twice before already. It's getting old now. Also nice to not see Olivia be entirely weepy, and being her normal, emotionally invested but composed self. (Forgot to look at the watch, again!) And no Terry, I love the ADA!! I love how she's pushing the issue, since the detectives don't seem to remember the last time they had to do this. Though we were very roughly reminded of Casey's end; "Casey Novak lied to a judge and got disbarred." Well if that ain't concrete, I don't know what is. Besides concrete. Now, all we need is for her to be emotionally tested in some way, and we're golden.

Definitely a better epi than last week. I can't say I like the new ADA yet but I think they are all "made" to be hated from the beginning, until they get their "special" episode...my thoughts anyways

I agree that Casey is sadly missed. I felt bad that Kim thew out that remark about Casey being disbarred. I didn't think whe had been. I must have missed something in the season finale last year. I thought she was just suspended.
