I liked the episode but I admit, right when James Brolin came on it was "he did it!". It's the well-known formula: the big star did it, goes to jail at the end- look at Jane Seymour, Robin Williams, John Ritter, Henry Winkler, all serving time. Only exception I can think of is Ellen Burstyn as Elliot's mother. Anyway, about the episode, it was good- it had humor, it had teamwork, and most importantly: it had Warner and Haung! Haung! Finally! Already four episodes into the season and he finally shows up. I agree with some posts here...what's the point of having Haung and Warner in the opening credits when they barely have any air time? I guess once after being a real hot recurring character that got promoted to the credits, it becomes death- the hotness becomes cool. No Kim. I have no feelings for her whatsoever. I don't hate her, I don't like her, it's just nothing. The only thing is that I am sick of that bun of hers. She has long hair- doesn't she know any other styles? Alex and Casey has had different styles and they looked professional and fresh.
Dickie. I'm so glad that it's the same actor since all this time. There's been a rumor that Jeffrey Scaperotta was replaced and I was nervous about it. I don't think it's smart to replace an actor of a same character in a drama show after 10 years who's been on many times before. And my! Honestly, if the Stabler family were real and I see them on the street, I would think that they would be a real family. Honest. Maureen looks just like Kathy; Kathleen and Elizabeth resembles Elliot and Kathy. Eli looks like Kathy, and Dickie used to look like Kathy and now he's looking more and more like Elliot. And none of these actors are real life related! Ok...Dickie, now wants to be known as Dick. Why? In this day in age, it's not cool to be called Dick. Dick Van d**e and Dick Patterson can get away with the name. Not a teenage boy. I either react with an immature muffled giggle or a cringed spine. What's wrong with Richard? Rick? Makes much more better sense to me. The writers are being butt-kissy towards Dick Wolf. I'm surprised Eli isn't named after Neal Baer.
