I watched the show one night while at my parents' house and it was one of the few shows that I immediately thought I would tune into every week. Thus every Tuesday at 10:00 was freed up on my schedule. Of course it doesnt hurt anything that Chris is amazingly gorgeous!

Seems like we all have the luck of the draw... or of the flip, as the case may be. :rotfl:

Yeah. ;D I learned just to shut up and not mention it around the house... but then they yell at me when I talk about it with other people who actually might care about what I say. I mean, they cant have it both ways. Like they say, d*** if you don't, d*** if you do! :yahoo: :winky:

There's only two people I can talk about it school to and they won't say that they'll have to send me to SVU rehab (now it's The Equalizer and Homicide: LOTS rehab as well). My family is encouraging me to get help. :rolling:  :rotfl: ;D

Well the first episode that I remember seeing on tv was "Loss" and I only saw the last five minutes of it! The intensity there was enough get my attention! But at that time SVU was not very well know (less than know at least, and it says a lot I can tell you!) it was mostly a show used to fill in the gaps of the programation grid during summer or a break between two seasons of a more polpular show. So I saw a few episodes after that and then poof it went away. But still at the back of my mind I couldn't shake the feeling that this was a great show and that I would love to see more of it. Afterwards it went on and off programation and I tried to follow. It's only now since last year that I got reacquainted with it. Now it's airing on a regular schedule even though they recently changed the day.
What got me interested in the show in opposition to all the other law dramas, was the dynamic of a team of dedicated detectives and lawyers that were not only kick ass cops/attorneys but also very human! They are not perfect but they give everything they have to protect the innocent and to dispense justice. I think it's very courageous too for a show to be centered on "sex crimes" and to treat the subject with such a direct and delicate way!!
