I'm really, really intrigued that people want to see Elliot and Olivia get together the most out of ANY other TV pairing! I mean... WOW! But you know, I can't blame them. I agree 120% So heyy... EO ALL THE WAY BABY! ;D

Then again I had scratched my head like this when Kathy left Elliot in season 6 after her last appearance in season 5's Home where they were happy. I know it had been a year and lots of things can happen but still...what the hell? How about giving out a little warning here and there so it can build up rather then a surprise pie in the face? I must say that I agree, vehemently... but this happens to be a recurring theme in many of the episodes of SVU... where the dilemma of the moment seems to merely sprout out of nowhere. This is always confusing to me as to why TPTB decide to handle situations and plots this way, for example, like you said - the El/Kathy divorce thing. I personally was jumping for joy after the realization (no haters!) but that didn't stop my mouth from at first dropping wide open in shock. As for tonight's ep.... Needless to say, beside the annoying 'in-your-face' quality of Dickie's (or Richard's? Whatever...) outbursts, which lead to consequences... the episode, I felt, was really, really excellent. I was honestly on the edge of my seat the entire time and I feel the immense struggle (after the crapshoot that was most of last season) to want to applaud TPTB for the episodes they've been putting out so far this season. Knock on wood. I've been very impressed and have enjoyed the episodes since the beginning of this season - it makes me excited every week for the SVU on Wednesday night. The whole Alex/El/Liv fight was fascinating. We've never seen them, as I can remember, get into an argument like this, and it was indeed very interesting to watch it play out. I also really liked that we saw a lot of Fin, and some Munch... But the focus of the Dickie/Shane ordeal kept pulling me in to the storyline. Seriously, I was on the edge of my seat the entire episode! And of course, a lot of Benson/Stabler dynamic, which I love... OKAY, AND... I feel that I have to point it out... but. But. But.... was anyone else extremely surprised when Dickie was in the interrogation room with Olivia and he said something along the lines of "And what, you've never slept with you partner?!" I mean... what? I was definitely paying attention to the episode at that time, but when he said that, I had to do a double take. Like, did he just say that? Elliot had the EXACT same look on his face. I dunno... that just... shocked me to no end. Overall, this was a really good episode, I felt like. I enjoyed it and am in turn VERY excited (again) for Next week's episode! Just the preview made me squeal, haha! Wooo!

I just want to know why Mariska wasn't there! I hope that everything is okay. I was definetly looking forward to seeing her dress too! I always love hers. Darn.

Okay, in my opinion, this episode was like, all over the place. I definetly got confused more than once. And with the Nikki girl ending up being the one that killed her own sister in the end? I've got to say that I thought the entire episode was sort of a disaster. The one thing that I've got to give TPTB props on is that I don't think we've ever seen a case like this one before. Atleast it was something "new" And I can't tell you how frusterated I'm getting with them misleading the promos! I was definetly thinking that the El/Liv interragation thing was going to be more in-depth with them getting in a fight or something like that, but oh well.

This sounds pretty much out of control to be honest. We'll just have to wait and see I guess though!
BUT, what is with all of the undercover gigs this season? It seems like everything has been "undercover"! Geez!

I've got to say I will be throughly disappointed if Mariska leaves SVU after this season. I can honestly say that if she leaves I probably won't end up watching the show anymore. I'm too attatched to the whole SVU cast and, especially, haha, Elliot and Olivia's chemistry, so I know I wouldn't watch if one of them left.
It's kind of a two way street, though, really, because if Mariska wants to have another baby, then I'll totally support her and be happy for her either way! It's not like I wouldn't like her just because if she left SVU.
I dunno... it's a hard thing because I want her to stay but also want to her to be happy and be with her family.

Overall I thought that this episode was okay. I've got to admit, though, that it was a breath of fresh air to have simply an SVU case and nothing else. When the woman was stabbed by her husband, I pretty much jumped out of my seat. I was watching it with my mom and brother and sister, and I told them that in all 10 seasons of SVU, I don't think that I'd seen anything so gross and been so freaked out, than that scene. Definetly didn't expect that. The rest of the episode, in my opinion, sort of went downhill. Donnelly was pushing the case wayy too hard, and honestly, the older woman seemed a bit too dramatic and at first I didn't believe her when she cried rape. She was a good actress, though, don't get me wrong, but it sort of got me confused then with the pregnancy thing that she pulled in the courtroom. I stand by that it was an okay episode. I would say a filler, if that. Once again, amazing to see a simply case-related episode, besides how much I may've loved Wildlife

Ahh! Wildlife's EO scene just about made my life! Haha, and agreed, oowsvu, I dont think about Liv that way either but with El and Liv together worked for me! Haha And I was thinking about it - do you think that EO is ever going to talk about that undercover prostitute scene? Because seriously, when Liv came out in her bra Elliot looked um pretty shocked! He didn't know she was going to do that! Haha and you can soo tell that the first time they talked to each other after that incident, when El was in the hospital, he looked at her pretty awkwardly haha. I was just thinking though!!

Eh, I think it all depends on how it's written.
Think of CSI, it made the show better, really.
